Description: Grand Canal Square, designed by Martha Schwartz Partners. The Dublin Docklands Development Authority (DDDA) was created in 1997, generating a whirlwind of fresh ideas to redeem the look of Dublin’s waterfront. Less than a year later, an old gasworks site was purchased that went on to become the site of the Grand Canal Square. Today, the square is characterized by influential architecture, teeming commerce, and one piece of unforgettable landscape design. Blueton were asked to manufacture custom seating for an area of this project, though our Irish Ambassador ESF.
